About Us

My name is Reggie Grotewiel. I moved to Denver in 1999 and immediately fell in love with the Colorado lifestyle. Growing up on a small farm in Missouri, I learned the value of hard work and how to fix just about anything. I put those skills to use paying my way through college, earning my Construction Management Degree in 1998.
In 2014, I founded Big Wheel Handyman to help my neighbors maintain and improve their homes with a level of detail usually reserved for large-scale construction. As a Certified Master Inspector, I bring a specialized eye to every project—meaning we don't just "fix" things; we ensure they are safe and built to last.
We are a family-owned business. My wife, Victoria, leads our customer service, while our expert technicians, Dan and Tony, bring years of experience and a friendly face to your front door. We are proud to be your multi-year "Best of Mile High" winners, and we look forward to earning your trust on your next project.

In 2007, my wife and I bought our house in Denver and we were featured on DIY Network’s TV show “Sweat Equity” for our kitchen remodel.
In 2014 I started Big Wheel Handyman and found my passion for helping homeowners improve and maintain their homes. I have also trained as a home inspector and a Certified Master Inspector, which gives me an eye for detail that shows in all of my handyman work.
